Algemeen welzijn stopt niet aan de deur van een bedrijf. Ook daarbuiten is het welzijn en de veiligheid van de medewerkers van groot belang. Daarom is Demival met het stadsbestuur maanden geleden gesprekken gestart en zien we daarvan nu reeds de concrete resultaten: de aanleg van voetpaden en een verhoogde oversteekplaats. Burgemeester Jan Vermeulen en de verantwoordelijke schepenen konden meemaken hoe deze werken door het personeel werden ervaren. Demival huldigde op 19.4.2021 samen met haar veiligheidsambassadeurs en het stadsbestuur de nieuwe omgeving in en koppelde er direct een zwerfvuilactie aan.

Demival has invested in a ProtoTRAK machine for the Metal Department – which forms one cluster together with the Electrical fitting and installation and the PCB assembly departments. This machine is something between a CNC machine and a milling machine and allows the employees to make more complex pieces that take up less preparation time.
